- Wolfsburg vs Paderborn, 9a on ESPN Select, Fubo: Kevin Paredes and Santiago Castañeda face off in the first leg of the series that will decide which of their clubs will be in the Bundesliga next season. Paredes’s Wolfsburg finished 16th in the Bundesliga, good enough to avoid automatic relegation, but forcing them to defend their position. Castañeda’s Paderborn were third in the 2. Bundesliga, not achieving promotion — unless they overcome Die Wölfe in this two-leg series.
- Racing Club vs Caracas, 8p on beIN Sports Connect, Fubo: Matko Miljevic and Racing Club need a strong result to keep their hopes of advancing to the knockout stages of Copa Sudamericana. They drew Caracas 1-1 in the reverse fixture. Caracas are unbeaten in the group (2 wins, 2 draws, and 8 points to Racing’s 4).
Friday

- Mexico vs Ghana, 10p on FOX Deportes, TUDN, Univision, Fubo, ViX: Mexico (Elo #20) have a friendly against Ghana (#82). Ghana might be a stronger side if they’d been able to land dual-nationals like Nico Williams (Spain), Jérémy Doku (Belgium), Kobbie Mainoo (England), or Jeremie Frimpong (Netherlands).
