With space to fill on two nights of AAA Triplemania 34, WWE continues with another random bout that should take a nice chunk of time. AAA announced a four-way tag team elimination contest with former NXT tag champs currently on the SmackDown roster.
AAA confirmed the match with LWO (Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro) versus Los Americanos (Bravo & Rayo) versus Tokyo Bad Boys (Nobu San & Kento) versus Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer & Axiom) for Triplemania 34 Night 1 in Las Vegas on Friday, September 11.
At the moment, there is no mention of this being a #1 contender match for the AAA World Tag Team Championship held by the War Raiders. Even without that carrot, I have my eye on Los Americanos and Fraxiom to win. That victory would give Los Americanos momentum for a rematch from losing at Ola de Calor. Fraxiom would make sense as contenders for the upcoming Worlds Collide event. Or maybe not, considering that they’ve lost three times to the War Raiders in recent weeks.
The updated lineup for Triplemania 34 Night 1 in Las Vegas on Friday, September 11 includes:
- Rey Mysterio vs. Omos (suspension over or leave AAA forever)
- AAA World Trios Championship: Psycho Circus (c) vs. Los Perros del Mal
- #1 contender for AAA Reina de Reinas Championship: Roxanne Perez vs. Faby Apache vs. Natalya vs. La Hiedra (winner challenges at Worlds Collide)
- LWO vs. Los Americanos vs. Tokyo Bad Boys vs. Fraxiom (elimination match)
The lineup for Triplemania 34 Night 2 in Mexico City on Sunday, September 13 includes:
- AAA Mega Championship: Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. El Grande Americano
- AAA Reina de Reinas Championship: Flammer (c) vs. La Catalina
- AAA Cruiserweight Championship: Fenix (c) vs. Mini Vikingo vs. Jack Cartwheel vs. Nathan Frazer
- Mexican Street Fight: Psycho Clown vs. El Carnicero (match not official yet)
