The Miami Dolphins claimed seven players off of waivers on Monday in order to shore up their young roster. They also signed free agent defensive end Malik Herring.
To make room for those additions, Miami’s general manager had to part with eight players who initially made the team following roster cuts on Sunday.
The Dolphins released EDGE Clelin Ferrell and cornerback A.J. Green III. Miami waived cornerback Ethan Bonner, offensive tackle Marques Cox, wide receiver A.J. Henning, EDGE Max Llewellyn,
and offensive lineman Josh Priebe. The team also waived/injured tight end Ben Sims.
Monday’s seven claims were the most around the National Football League. Fans of the Dolphins shouldn’t be surprised if Sullivan remains active on the waiver wire all season, considering the financial limitations the organization is working with due to a record-high amount of dead cap the organization is dealing with during the 2026 season — more than $180 million at the time of this writing.
