It’s official. Juventus cemented their status as a fallen giant.
Scraping by the last few years and barely making it into the Champions League has now taken its toll. Juventus are not a top-four team anymore, with Sunday night’s 2-2 draw with Torino in the Derby della Mole sealing the Bianconeri’s fate and sending them to the Europa League. They needed help on top of a win against their city rivals. Luciano Spalletti’s squad did neither, with the second half at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino being
played nearly an hour later than the other games concluded due to events earlier in the day that delayed kickoff.
No matter what, though, Juve’s fall over the last half-decade has hit its latest step.
Time to get used to hearing the Europa League anthem because it’s coming back to Turin in the fall of 2026.
