Yesterday the feedback was really strong on my Cade Klubnik breakdown video so I figured I would follow it up with one dissecting Bailey Zappe’s pair of interceptions in the Jets preseason opener. Unlike with Klubnik I’m not breaking down every passing attempt. I am sticking with the interceptions.
I think I have a plan for how to use videos in the regular season that people will enjoy, but I’m still working out how to use the technology so this is good practice. I will probably try to do a few more
before the preseason is out.
Zappe’s performance was certainly poor in this game, but I don’t think he was the only Jets player to miss the mark on these two plays. Sometimes I think interceptions can be a team stat as much as they are an individual stat for a quarterback, and hopefully I explain why I feel that way well in this video.
