If Bayern Munich and PSV Eindhoven can agree on a deal for attacking midfielder Ismael Saibari, the Moroccan’s medical exam would take place in the United States, where the 25-year-old is now based for the World Cup per Eindhovens Dagblad (as captured by @iMiaSanMia):
Ismael Saibari landed in the US with the Moroccan national team ahead of the World Cup. Bayern will have medical staff available in place so a medical check can be done swiftly once a deal is agreed with PSV. The club is determined to
complete the transfer before the tournament kicks off.
There has been little reported on any exchanges between the two clubs on a transfer fee. It can be assumed that the fee will be for significantly less than the 70 million (+10 million in add-ons) package that FC Barcelona used to outduel the Bavarians on former Newcastle United attacker Anthony Gordon. However, Bayern Munich seemingly sets a “not to exceed” number on each potential transfer. We shall see if the price is right for Bayern Munich soon enough.
