Week 1 of the NFL season is here with the first Thursday Night Game of the season featuring the Los Angeles Rams and the San Francisco 49ers. Who are you picking?
The Rams are expected to win after completing one of the best off-season’s in recent memory. The Rams retained Matthew Stafford, added Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson, traded for Myles Garrett and somehow lured Aaron Donald out of retirement.
No trophy is handed out in September, but the Rams may have won the imaginary “offseason award”.
The 49ers basically took a squad of backups last year and the beat the Rams early in the season. Every season is different, but if any team was going to derail L.A.’s Week 1, it would be fitting it would be the 49ers.
Whether the Rams have a better roster or not, SF always seems to find a way to keep it close.
