The 2026 preseason kicks off for the Miami Dolphins on Friday when they visit the Washington Commanders. The first preseason game is primarily about getting game-speed repetitions with live tackling rather than focusing on the game planning and end results. We will likely see plenty of developmental players who are fighting for positions on the back end of the roster.
