The Philadelphia 76ers rallied from a 3–1 deficit to beat Boston behind Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey. They had a brief Game Seven scare when Maxey collided with Embiid’s leg, but the big Cameroonian played out the game.
Now
Embiid is listed as probable for Game 1 at Madison Square Garden with a right hip contusion. Of course, this could just be a little gamesmanship by head coach Nick Nurse. Embiid enters the series in top form (28.0 PPG, 9.0 RPG, 7.0 APG), and the New York Knicks should expect the full version of Embiid.
As for New York, Jeremy Sochan is the lone entry on the injury report, due to a hamstring.
Go Knicks!
