FC Köln makes coaching change
After its 3-3 draw with Borussia Mönchengladbach, FC Köln sacked head coach Lukas Kwasniok:
In a weird way, Kwasniok might have fallen victim to the good job he was doing earlier this season. As the Billy Goats looked more threatening, their players got more popular on the transfer market…and maybe more distracted. Now, FC Köln hired René Wagner as its interim coach:
In addition, FC Köln brought in Armin Reutershahn to assist Wagner:
Leweling planning on attending Germany camp despite injury
VfB Stuttgart star Jamie Leweling will head out to the German national team camp despite a calf injury per Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg:
🚨🆕 Current plan: Jamie #Leweling will travel to the DFB camp despite being sidelined. Absolutely wants to be there. Currently still injured (calf). Further examinations/scans planned on site.
Participation open, at least for the match vs. Switzerland. Missed VfB Stuttgart’s games against Porto and Augsburg.
11 goals and 9 assists so far. @SkySportDE
