Vincent Kompany has earned the praise of basically the entire Bayern Munich fanbase thanks to his visible improvement of the team. One of the players who benefited from this is new signing Tom Bischof,
who told ranSport (via Twitter account @iMiaSanMia) how the Belgian has got the team playing incredibly.
“I’ve rarely seen a coach who has the team so under control and, at the same time, brings so much fun to training sessions and the team as he does,” Bischof said. “The first three weeks were truly crazy. He told me something about practically every move. I almost thought, ‘Please, that’s enough.’ I was annoyed, but I have to say that, looking back, it’s helped me tremendously. I constantly think of his words in my actions. ‘Run back, always keep up!’ – He drilled that into my head. And it’s stuck there forever.”
Bischof is in succession for the midfield pivot and he has gotten a full match under his belt (against Werder Bremen), but he will get his big break here real soon because like Thierry Henry said with Michael Olise: we’ve yet to see the best of him.
