Guardians News and Notes – A Gem Amongst Pebbles

All eyes were on Parker Messick and his major league debut. Yesterday Messick threw about as great of a MLB debut as one could ever hope. Tommy has a great writeup detailing some of what made his debut so amazing. Unfortunately the game itself wasn’t equally amazing. Nick has the recap from yesterday’s disappointing 10th inning loss.

John Means had a great rehab outing in Lake County.

John Means goes 3 2/3 IP, 2 H, 1 BB, 4 K on 51 pitches (34 strikes) for High-A Lake County tonight. He allowed an infield single and a bloop single.
