Lamine Yamal has shared his thoughts on Barcelona’s exit from the Copa del Rey in midweek against Atletico with a new message on social media.
The teenager was spotted heading straight for the tunnel as the final whistle sounded at Camp Nou, his disappointment at the result evident for all to see.
He’s now thanked fans for their support and says there’s still plenty to look forward too this season.
“Thank you for last night, Culers. We still have many things to be excited about,” he posted on Instagram.
“Visca el Barça sempre! (Long live Barcelona forever).”
Yamal headed into the game fresh from his first career hat-trick against Villarreal but couldn’t add to his tally against Atletico, although he did grab an assist for Marc Bernal’s first goal.
Barca must now bounce back quickly from their disappointment, with La Liga and Champions League fixtures up next against Athletic Club and Newcastle.
