Jürgen Klopp’s Germany era is officially underway, and Bayern Munich supporters have plenty of reasons to pay attention.
Klopp has called up a large group of players for the international break, including several Bayern Munich stars who will now get the chance to work directly with the new Germany manager. That makes this an especially interesting international window for the club’s contingent.
Jamal Musiala is the obvious name. When healthy, Musiala is one of Germany’s most important attacking players,
and Klopp will have plenty of opportunities to figure out how to maximize his ability in an aggressive, high-intensity system.
Then there is Joshua Kimmich, who brings experience, leadership, and the kind of tactical versatility that Klopp has historically valued. Serge Gnabry could also benefit from the change, particularly if Klopp can get the attacker operating with the confidence and attacking aggression he has shown at his best.
And then there are the younger Bayern Munich players.
Jonas Urbig has the opportunity to continue establishing himself within the Germany setup, while Lennart Karl could be one of the most intriguing players to watch. Klopp has already made it clear that he has high expectations for the Bayern Munich youngster.
