A lot happened with the 2026 Colorado Rockies.
They were certainly less bad than they were in 2025. (Let us never speak of that wretched year again.) But they were still pretty bad.
Back on Opening Day when we were so much younger, we all made predictions, which you may read here and here.
But the 2026 MLB season is over with the Milwaukee Brewers winning the World Series, “Ranking the Rockies” continuing apace, and the offseason beginning in earnest.
So as we sum up the year that was and look to the one
that will come, here’s tonight’s question for all you Purple Row Night Owls: What did you get wrong about 2026?
Me, I thought Michael Lorenzen would be a positive addition to the rotation, and if you’d told me in March that he would be DFA’d I wouldn’t have believed you.
But here we are.
