Before their last training camp practices, which are joint practices with the Atlanta Falcons this week, the Indianapolis Colts made a handful of roster moves.
The Colts signed free agent offensive tackle Roy Mbaeteka, tight end Tyler Moore, and offensive tackle Trey Wedig. Regarding Wedig, he previously had worked out with the Colts on Monday.
The Colts also placed tight end Carson Towt on the injured reserve and waived both wide receiver E.J. Horton Jr. and offensive tackle Bayron Matos in corresponding
roster moves.
Regarding Mbaeteka, the 6,0”, 344 pound former native Nigerian undrafted free agent, who never played high school or college football has spent time with the New York Giants, Chicago Bears, Cleveland Browns, Arizona Cardinals, and Miami Dolphins. Originally in the NFL International Player Pathway Program, he has never appeared in an NFL game.
Meanwhile, Moore is a 6,5”, 255 pound tight end who was signed as an undrafted rookie free agent by the New York Giants earlier this offseason. At Iowa State, Moore caught 21 receptions for 245 yards (11.7 avg.) and two touchdowns during 45 career games (12 starts).
Lastly, Wedig is is a 6,7”, 313 pound offensive tackle who played his final collegiate season with the Indiana Hoosiers (2024). Signed as an undrafted rookie free agent by the Los Angeles Rams in 2025, he’s also spent time with the Arizona Cardinals organization and most recently, the UFL’s DC Defenders.
