According to X/Twitter user Ozzy, who is a known schedule leaker, the Denver Broncos will travel to Pittsburgh on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, to take on Aaron Rodgers(maybe?) and the Steelers at 3 pm ET on Amazon Prime.
These leaks are and have been very accurate, and KOA’s Benjamin Allbright also tweeted out that the Broncos are expected to play on the road
on Black Friday, have a week 10 BYE, and have a home game on Christmas. So, I would anticipate this game to be announced before the schedule is officially released at 6 pm MT on Thursday.
If true, this will be another standalone game featuring the Broncos. They will open the season on Monday Night Football vs. the Chiefs, play on Black Friday, play on Christmas again, and likely have a few more primetime games throughout the year. The Broncos are a team America wants to watch, and we’ll likely see our Broncos on the primetime stage a lot this upcoming season.
As for this game, it’s a late-season matchup that could have some postseason implications with it. The Broncos are AFC and Super Bowl favorites and could be in a battle for the AFC West and the number one seed in the AFC. Meanwhile, the Steelers will likely be battling the Ravens once again for the AFC North crown, which could come down to the final weeks of the season. So, this could be an important game for both teams.
The Steelers are currently awaiting word from veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers on whether or not he will return to the team or retire. All signs are pointing towards the 42-year-old quarterback to return for one more season, but time will tell.
The 2026 NFL Schedule will be released fully on Thursday Night at 6 pm MT, but we will be tracking all the leaks that will happen in the coming days on our schedule tracker. The Broncos figure to have multiple primetime games this season, so this should not be the only major announcement that includes the Broncos.
