Ryan Crow — Miami Dolphins outside linebackers coach — was arrested on Friday morning by the Fort Lauderdale Police Department and charged with domestic battery according to the Broward County jail records.
Bond was set at $1,000 and Crow was released from jail on Saturday afternoon. The judge ordered no alcohol or intoxicants and the 37-year-old must undergo a substance evaluation in 10 days. In addition to those orders, Crow must also stay away from the alleged victim.
According to the police report,
Crow and the alleged victim were out together when a dispute took place over past relationships. As the argument got heated, Crow allegedly shoved the victim, an act that was witnessed by multiple people who then called the police.
According to the report, “Witness 1 stated he observed Defendant with his arms around the victim as if he was going to perform a takedown. Witness further stated that the victim’s legs were off the ground and Defendant was whispering things into her ear. Victim looked terrified,”
Following his arrest, the Miami Dolphins placed Crow on paid administrative leave and released this statement:
“We are aware of the serious matter involving Ryan Crow and are currently gathering more information. Ryan has been placed on administrative leave effective immediately. We have been in communication with the NFL and will reserve further comment at this time.”
