
Maryland gymnastics head coach Brett Nelligan has signed a contract extension with the team through June 2030, the program announced Monday.
Nelligan, who took over for his father Bob in 2009, has led the Terps to 13 NCAA Regional appearances, including the last seven in a row. His squad’s 196.825 in the 2025 NCAA Regional was the highest in program history in a national
regional.
Nelligan was named Big Ten Coach of the Year in 2018 and guided Maryland to its highest national ranking (No. 8) in program history in 2020.
