BFW Analysis
Bayern Munich’s renewed focus on the America is clear. Earlier this month, the club also brought in Orange County SC defender Tyson Espy for a trial as well per Transfermarkt:
Orange County SC defender Tyson Espy is currently on trial with Bayern Munich, multiple sources have told Transfermarkt. The 16-year-old center-back was signed on a free transfer from the LAFC academy in August and has since featured in three USL Championship games for Orange County SC since joining from the MLS club in August.
The only bit of hesitance with the Olaya move is the immediate loan. Bayern Munich has not always placed their prospects in great spots and it will be key for the youngster to be comfortable and with a club who can help develop him.
