There’s a lot of news to keep track of as the Philadelphia Eagles start making offseason moves, and in addition to saying goodbye to guys from last year’s really talented roster, there are also a lot of former players on the move, too.
Here are some of the Philly alumni who are on their way to new teams in 2026, and some that have been able to re-sign with their 2025 squad.
Some notables:
- After helping the Seattle Seahawks win a Super Bowl, CB Josh Jobe secured a three-year contract extension worth $24 million.
- The Minnesota Vikings made a big commitment to LB Eric Wilson signing him to a three-year deal worth $22.5 million.
- Both Mekhi Becton (Chargers) and Will Grier (Cowboys) were released as cap-saving measures during the early days of free agency.
- The Las Vegas Raiders tendered two former Eagles in S Tristin McCollum and DT Thomas Booker.
- DT Javon Hargrave was released by the Vikings, and then went ahead and signed within the division, with the Green Bay Packers on a two-year, $23 million deal.
There are still a bunch of former Eagles still looking for their next opportunity — some guys like Joe Flacco are rumored
to have several options, while other are hoping someone will give them another chance. With Frank Reich now the OC of the Jets, they might look at Carson Wentz as a depth option, and Zach Ertz will likely get another opportunity once he progresses a little more in his ACL recovery.
