The Tennessee Titans finished the game on Sunday with two healthy wide receivers. They signed James Proche II to the active roster yesterday
, so they enter this week with three healthy wide receivers on the 53-man roster because Elic Ayomanor is dealing with a hamstring injury, and Chimere Dike has a chest contusion. Paul Kuharksy tweeted this morning that he is hearing Dike has a better chance to play on Sunday than Ayomanor:Things certainly aren’t getting any easier for rookie quarterback Cam Ward. The people who have been clamouring to see Xavier Restrepo get a chance should get their wish this week. At this point, I’d like to see him get more snaps than Mason Kinsey. They will need Kinsey to return punts if Dike cannot go, but I don’t need to see Kinsey get any more targets on offense. His ceiling is well established at this point.
Most people have wide receiver below EDGE for the Titans when they list 2026 NFL Draft needs. That’s a mistake. If this franchise is going to maximize what they are getting out of Ward, they need to give him a lot more in the receiver department than they currently have.
