After being dropped from No. 17 to unranked after a 34-16 loss to Ohio State, Bret Bielema’s crew found itself back
in the top 25 on Sunday after a bunch of losses by teams at the bottom of the poll.
Illinois is No. 23 ahead of its Saturday showdown in Seattle against the Huskies, where the Illini find themselves slight underdogs to open.
In other Big Ten news, Illinois’ two losses now come to the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in the land, after Indiana slid up a spot following Miami’s stunning loss to Louisville.
