Good morning, baseball fans!
We are in the middle of a new feature for May that I’m calling the “12 Days of Mays-mas” because I won’t be around for this week, and I want to leave you guys with some fun things to watch while I’m gone.
For the fifth day of Mays-mas, I thought we could take a look at another game from the 2014 playoff run. This time, the Wild Card game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
This was the game that started it all for the Giants’ playoff hopes and dreams in 2014. Madison Bumgarner
set the tone for himself, by pitching a complete game shutout. And Brandon Crawford got that grand slam that silenced the hopes and dreams of everyone in and around the greater Pittsburgh area.
You truly love to see it.
So grab your coffee, settle in, and enjoy!
What time do the Giants play today?
The San Francisco Giants continue this three-game home series against the San Diego Padres tonight at 6:45 p.m. PT.
