What is the story about?
The Pittsburgh Steelers go back to the trenches with the 210th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, selecting Notre Dame defensive tackle Gabriel Rubio.
Rubio put up 66 tackles, seven of which were for loss and 14 run stops. He now joins an already loaded defensive line that consists of Cam Heyward, Derrick Harmon, Keeanu Benton, and Yahya Black. He is the second defensive player taken by the Steelers in this draft, joining cornerback Daylen Everette out of Georgia.
