With Arsenal and Wolves both having a double gameweek, this could be an ideal opportunity to activate a Free Hit or Wildcard chip in FPL.
As teams at opposite ends of the table, they offer contrasting but
potentially rewarding options for managers willing to take a calculated risk.
In their additional fixtures, Arsenal will travel to face Brentford, while Wolves visit Nottingham Forest.
Both matchups look reasonably favourable and could present valuable points potential, especially when combined with the extra fixture.
FPL GW26 Preview
In the 3-4-3 formation I’m deploying this week, I’ve doubled down on Arsenal by including three of their players: Raya, Rice, and Gyökeres, who has already scored three goals across his last two matches. Arsenal’s consistency makes them a solid backbone for my squad.
Chelsea also feature heavily, with three representatives in my lineup — Chalobah, Palmer, and Pedro.
They face Leeds United at home, which is a relatively favourable fixture compared to those of other top sides.
With Chelsea still pushing for a Champions League spot, this match feels crucial, and I’m expecting strong attacking returns.
Manchester United, currently on a four-game winning streak, travel to face West Ham United this gameweek.
Bruno Fernandes and Mbeumo are both in my starting XI, although there is some concern over Mbeumo after he limped off in the previous match.
If he doesn’t feature, Gomes — who has a double gameweek — is ready to step in as my substitute.
Alongside Pedro, my other two starting forwards are both double gameweek players: Mané and Gyökeres.
Depth will be important this week, and substitutes like Dubravka, Cash, and Mané could play a key role if any last-minute issues arise in the starting lineup.
What do you think of my squad out of 10? Are you planning to play any chips this gameweek — or holding for later? Anyone you’d swap in or out before the deadline?
