But we always knew that Valverde’s role at right-back was temporary, and he’ll only play there if both Dani Carvajal and Trent Alexander-Arnold are unavailable. Now that Trent is back, Valverde will be pushed to midfield soon. But should he play on the right wing instead of a CM? With Mastantuono injured, and Valverde being so dominant on the right wing, it might be time to consider it seriously.
