All offseason, the conversation around the Cleveland Browns was about the quarterback position. Coming out of Week 1, Joe Flacco is not the conversation (except his return to Baltimore, in Week 2, for the first time as a visitor), and, instead, the conversation is all about the rookies (on the good side) and the kicker (on the bad side).
The Browns did not bring any kickers in for a workout on Tuesday, but did see three moves on their practice squad, which left an open spot. Many believed that open spot would
be used when someone from the active roster was waived/released to make room for RB Quinshon Judkins or to bring in kicking competition. Instead, the team announced Wednesday morning that they have brought back DE KJ Henry to fill that practice squad spot:
Henry was a fifth-round pick in 2023 and has played in 14 career games, with three different teams, in that time. The former Clemson star spent training camp in Cleveland but did not make the initial 53-man roster and was not signed to the initial practice squad.
