There are going to be quite a few big names in the house for this one. Purdue will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the 2000 Rose Bowl team led by Drew Brees. A number of the members of the team will be back including the aforementioned Drew Brees. Multiple time hero of that season Travis Dorsch will also be in attendance as he confirmed on Twitter. This will be a great moment for those guys and for the fans who get to celebrate that team that brought us all so much joy. Fitting that they are doing
it against USC as Drew Brees started his sophomore season in 1998 against at USC, though it was a 27-17 loss. Brees was 30-52 with two touchdowns and two interceptions which was just a sneak peak of what was to come. It was however the last time these two teams faced each other.
This time though it will be different as Purdue and USC is, surprisingly a conference game. The two teams didn’t meet last year in USC’s first year in the Big Ten. This is the first real test for both teams as so far they’ve sustained themselves on cupcakes alone. USC has piled up points while Purdue walked away with two easy victories of their own. Who will get the victory in this one? There’s only one way to find out! Join us in the open thread to follow along.
