1. MOISÉS CAICEDO (7.7)
Caicedo doesn’t score many, but he certainly doesn’t get cheated when he does. The power he can generate from practically a standstill is quite impressive: an absolute howitzer to take the roof off the net, and what really should’ve been our winning goal.
And of course he keeps doing all the Caicedo things. What a player! Can we clone him please?
2. COLE PALMER (7.5, sub)
Speaking of nice things, nice to have Palmer back after a few weeks out with a groin injury and nice to see him get his first Premier League goal from open
play in nearly eight months.
He looked far from his best, but still managed to score one (and miss a perhaps even easier chance). We have plenty of legs in attack, even with the injuries, but none can replace Palmer (especially when he’s at his best, which he hopefully will be soon).
3. PEDRO NETO (6.8)
Pedrito was back to his energiner bunny best, especially in the second half, and probably deserved an assist or two for his endeavor. Last-ditch block by a defender, too, to prevent what may have very well been a goal.
