Let’s look at where the Las Vegas Raiders’ offensive line stands after the draft:
Let’s take a look where the position stands:
New free agent added:
Center Tyler Linderbaum (Baltimore Ravens), guard Spencer Burford.
Free agent who departed:
Guard Dylan Parham (New York Jets), tackle Stone Forsythe (Carolina Panthers).
Current free agents:
None.
Free agent who re-signed:
Released:
Guard Alex Cappa.
Returners:
Kolton Miller, DJ Glaze, Jordan Meredith, Jackson Powers-Johnson, Will Putnam, Caleb Rogers, Charles
Grant, Atonio Mafi.
Draft:
Guard Trey Zuhn was taken in the third round (No. 91) out of Texas A&M.
Conclusion:
This unit was awful last season. With Fernando Mendoza in town, protecting him is paramount. The Raiders spent huge on Linderbaum and he is a top-level center. Miller is healthy. Jackson Powers-Johnson should start at guard. Zuhn, Rogers and Burford will compete at a guard spot and Grant and Glaze will compete at tackle. This group must come together quickly.
