From a trophy winning perspective, Harry Kane’s time at Bayern Munich has been the most successful period of his career. There are other ways he has continued to improve and thrive despite entering his 30s
but it is a fact that he has won more trophies at Bayern than at his previous loan clubs and club of so many years Tottenham Hotspur.
Having said all of that, that trophy count at Bayern is at just 2 after two years, having won the Bundesliga title last season and the DFL Super Cup this season (if one even wants to count that as a trophy more than a glorified friendly). Bayern expect to win more than that in 2 years and Kane clearly has the same ambition, making winning trophies his new year’s wish.
“I want to win all the major trophies,” Kane confirmed in an interview with Sky Germany, as captured by @iMiaSanMia. “As a team, we want to achieve maximum success in the Champions League, Bundesliga, and also in the DFB Pokal. Since I’ve been here, we haven’t managed that yet, so it would be a fantastic achievement. And the World Cup in the summer will be exciting. I’ll be a happy man if I win all these competitions.”
The England captain has the chance to win 4 more trophies before the summer is over and triple his current trophy haul. After infamously going so long without a trophy, Kane may finally start winning the silverware a player of his caliber is expected to.
