Lamine Yamal has sent out a message to Gavi after the midfielder was ruled out for around five months following a new knee operation.
Gavi went under the knife on Tuesday and is now set for a lengthy lay-off
as the injury was more serious than first feared.
Yamal has taken to Instagram to offer his support to Gavi at what is a difficult time for the youngster.
“My warrior, I am confident that you will soon be back being the best as always. Nothing can stop you, we are all waiting for you, much strength,” he posted on Instagram.
Yamal isn’t the only player to send good wishes to Gavi. Marc Bernal posted a message on social media after news of Gavi’s long lay-off was confirmed as did Ansu Fati.
Manager Hansi Flick also spoke about Gavi at his press conference on Wednesday and made it clear the club will do all they can to support him on the road to recovery.
