According to a report from Sport1 journalist Stefan Kumberger, Bayern Munich has its eye on Eintracht Frankfurt left-back Nathaniel Brown.
The 22-year-old made the move from FC Nürnberg in 2024, but had a standout season for Die Adler in 2025/26. Brown had four goals and six assists in 42 games across all competitions, while playing a total of 3,461 minutes. Brown, who has three caps for the German national team, has become an option for the Bavarians because of the ongoing injury situation for Alphonso
Davies:
FC Bayern have found a promising player for the left-back position in Frankfurt. According to SPORT1 information, the club at Säbener Straße is intensively considering a possible move of 22-year-old Eintracht professional Nathaniel Brown to Munich.
The scouting department of the record champions has high hopes for him. Considerations have progressed to the point that a first meeting took place on Monday to explore all options. One reason for Bayern Munich’s interest is Alphonso Davies’ ongoing susceptibility to injury. This has already sparked intense discussions behind the scenes (SPORT1 reported).
Right now, it is unclear if Brown will make the cut for Germany’s World Cup squad. However, Brown’s appeal to Bayern Munich could be worth watching whether he makes the trip to North America or not.
This is a situation to keep an eye on.
