If Steph Curry being out was a huge blow to the Golden State Warriors’ chances of notching their first win of the season, the announcement of Brandin Podziemski also being out on the second night of a back-to-back slate against the Phoenix Suns may have been the final nail in the proverbial coffin.
Brandin Podziemski said he will not play tomorrow in Phoenix. So it sounds like the already depleted Warriors will also be without Steph Curry and Podziemski against the Suns. He missed the opener with a tweaked
back.

Podziemski missed the season opener against the Los Angeles Lakers due to a lower back strain. This move is most likely precautionary in order to prevent him from re-straining his back.
Podziemski arguably was the best player against the Memphis Grizzlies, scoring 18 points and being at the center of a couple of key plays on offense and defense. However, it wasn’t enough to stave off a furious rally from a 12-point deficit with just over three minutes left in the fourth quarter.
