After Elimination Chamber, we’ll have a clearer picture of WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas. Until then, the online uproar over there being just one announced Mania match is baffling.
We’re nine weeks out — why get worked up over that or alleged match rumors? Besides, don’t you want to see the stories develop on TV?
Speaking of stories unfolding on TV: Trick Williams and Sami Zayn — let’s talk about it.
Since Trick arrived on SmackDown in January,
these two have had a war of words and some heated face-offs. Trick’s promo last Friday was next-level, mocking Zayn’s hair, his shoes, and topping it with:
“Your breath smelling like 10 pounds of bounce that ass.”
Early 2026, but that might be the one-liner of the year.
Sami’s oral hygiene aside, this feud is shaping up to be the modern Rock vs. Mankind: smooth-talking, charismatic, athletic god vs. WWE’s biggest loser (Cain A. Knight’s words, not mine; great article, by the way).
WWE, please keep these two apart until WrestleMania. The slow burn is turning this into a must-see, and the longer you make us wait, the better.
