There was a time in the not-too-distant past when UFC fans thought Jamahal Hill was not on the same level as Jan Blachowicz; which not surprisingly, caused “Sweet Dreams” to have a profanity-laced meltdown.
Time to find out once and for all.
Blachowicz used social media to challenge Hill to a 2026 showdown and Hill was quick to respond.
Błachowicz (29-11-2) is ranked two spots above Hill (12-4, 1 NC) in the official light heavyweight rankings.
The 42 year-old Pole has not seen the win column in over three years and missed all of 2024 with a shoulder injury. His final fight of 2025 resulted in a majority draw against Bogdan Guskov at UFC 323 in Las Vegas. As for Hill, 34, he’s dropped three straight (getting finished twice) dating back to his title-winning performance over Glover Teixeira in early 2023.
Based on their ages and respective records over the last few years, this showdown between former light heavyweight champs could prove to be a “loser leaves town” match.
Who ya’ got?
