Barcelona are currently being linked with a host of center-backs ahead of the summer transfer window in a bid to strengthen their backline.

Alessandro Bastoni appears to be the club’s top choice, while there’s also plenty of talk about Luka Vušković and Micky van de Ven.

Hansi Flick has also used Gerard Martin and Eric Garcia at center-back at times this season, while Jules Kounde prefers the middle but is being used primarily as a right-back these days.

Barcelona also have a decision to make on Andreas

Christensen’s future, with speculation flying about that they will offer him a new contract despite his injury problems. There’s also been talk about a possible exit for Ronald Araujo.

All of which means there could be plenty of activity at the back in the summer transfer window.
