The New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers will resume their best-of-seven Eastern Conference NBA Playoffs series this evening. New York leads the series 2-0 but there’s some doubt whether OG Anunoby will suit up for them in Game 3 due to a hamstring strain.
On the other side of The Association, Minnesota Timberwolves will tangle with the San Antonio Spurs in Minneapolis to see who can successfully break the 1-1 tie in their Western Conference series. Minnesota earned homecourt advantage in Game 1 but
got housed in Game 2. The Spurs offered to change the contest to ping pong—an area in which they excel at historical levels—but the ‘Wolves politely declined. San Antonio will now wait for Sunday’s 2026 NBA Lottery drawing to find out whether they select first or second in the 2026 NBA Draft despite technically not having any balls in the hopper. In the meantime, the two will play tonight.
