Week three of the NFL schedule closes with this evening’s game between the Detroit Lions and the Baltimore Ravens. Both squads came into this season as top contenders in their respective conferences. The Ravens kicked off the season with a loss at the hands of another AFC contender, the Buffalo Bills, 41-40. Baltimore turned things around in week two with a convincing win over a divisional foe, the Cleveland Browns, 41-17. The Lions also dropped their week one contest to their divisional foe, the Green
Bay Packers, 27-13, before returning last week to take down another divisional foe, the Chicago Bears, 52-21. Both teams can move into a tie in their division with a win this evening.
