The final weekend of Serie A for a few months is upon us. The only thing 99.9% of us are completely focused on is what the top four of the league table will look like come the final minutes of Sunday night.
Juventus, having entered Matchday 37 in complete control of their own Champions League destiny, now are in direneed of a whole lot of help to make it into Europe’s premier club competition all of a week later as they face city rival Torino in the Derby della Mole to close out Matchday 38 and the 2025-26
season. That is because last weekend’s 2-0 loss to Fiorentina dropped Juve from third to sixth and, as a result, see the Bianconeri needing multiple things to go their way to get back into the top four.
Also on the schedule for Sunday night:
- Roma at Hellas Verona
- Cagliari at AC Milan
- Como at Cremonese
So not only do Juventus need to beat Torino with their best player suddenly looking like he will be out injured on Sunday, they need multiple results to go their way to be able to jump over two teams. Como and either Roma or Milan dropping points will do it. Same goes for Roma and Milan losing and Juve winning to jump over both with Como and the Bianconeri finishing on 71 points. Neither of these feel all that possible — especially with how Juventus went into a must-win game against Fiorentina last weekend and absolutely laid an egg.
Still, there’s a chance. It’s a small one, but it’s a chance.
So today’s BWRAO Question of the Day is:
How will things play out in the race for the top four on the final day of the 2025-26 season?
Now it’s over to you! Feel free to share your thoughts, opinions and answers in the comments section below!
