Bayern Munich will play host to a rather depleted Sporting CP side in a key Champions League match.
Word broke on Monday that the visitors will be without three key players — Francisco Trincão, Geovany
Quenda, and Pedro Gonçalves — who represent a massive part of the team’s attack.
That will hurt.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich should be relatively fresh, but will be without Luis Díaz, who is finishing up his red card suspension.
When it comes to breaking this one down, it seems…pretty clear:
- Bayern Munich will face a compact defensive structure from a Sporting CP side that knows it is outgunned offensively.
- Bayern Munich will likely takes a wile to figure things out, but will get ahead for a 2-0 lead.
- Sporting CP will take advantage of a defensive lapse from Bayern Munich after the Bavarians get a little aggressive offensively to make it 2-1, but Harry Kane will close out the scoring with a relatively late goal to send everyone home happy. Bayern wins 3-1!
