The Barry Odom era is off to a rough start

Odom got the Purdue job based on a successful

two years at UNLV, where he went 19-8, including 10-3 in 2024. Odom wasn’t able to replicate the immediate success he had at UNLV with the Boilermakers. Purdue is 2-6, and 0-5 in the Big Ten.

Two-quarterback system

Ryan Browne is Purdue’s QB1, but QB2 Malachi Singleton will likely see action as a dual-threat option.

Browne’s stats: 144-for-242 (59.5%), 1,689 passing yards, eight passing touchdowns, seven interceptions, 175 rushing yards, four rushing scores

This is Mockobee’s fourth season as Purdue’s RB1 and has rushed for 521 yards this season (4.2 yards per carry) with four rushing scores while also notching 18 receptions for 215 yards and one receiving touchdown.
