With a few departures in the rearview mirror, TNA is opening the check book to re-sign a former Knockouts champion. Tasha Steelz inked a new deal.
Steelz won the Knockouts Championship from Mickie James at the Sacrifice event on March 5, 2022. The Boricua Badass carried the title for 106 days. Steelz’s accolades from her seven years in TNA also include two-time
Knockouts tag team champion with Kiera Hogan and winning the first-ever Knockouts Ultimate X match.
Steelz spoke to Denise Salcedo to break the news. She took about 48 hours to mull over the decision to re-sign versus free agency. Steelz was loyal in the end. Her future goals include wrestling in another Knockouts Ultimate X, a Knockouts Lockdown match, and winning the Knockouts Championship for the second time. Steelz said that the title elevated her in the first reign. For her second run, she wants to elevate the title.
