Bayern Munich announced that its U-19 side now knows its opponent for the second round of the DFB Youth Cup. Following Tuesday’s draw at the DFB Campus in Frankfurt, conducted by Germany U-19 assistant coach Pascal Pellowski, Bayern will host FC Ingolstadt 04 during the final weekend of August. The exact date and kickoff time have yet to be announced.
The matchup comes with plenty of familiarity, as the two clubs are also set to meet in the DFB Youth League just one week earlier. Bayern will enter
the cup tie with confidence after winning both meetings against Ingolstadt during the 2024/25 season.
