WWE has been in Europe for the next couple of weeks around last Sunday’s Clash in Italy premium live event in Turin. Today (June 5), SmackDown remains in Italia but heads to Bologna as the star’s of the blue brand (including a new one) deal with the fallout from Clash.
That means it will stream live on Netflix for most of the globe — but in the United States, this week’s SmackDown will again air on tape in its usual 8 p.m. ET start in the United States on the USA Network. And that means spoilers will be available
for folks in the U.S. who don’t want to wait (or download Stephanie McMahon’s VPN of choice).
Advertised for Friday’s show: Undisputed WWE champion Cody Rhodes addresses his controversial win over Gunther at Clash in Italy, as we also learn what’s next for Women’s champ Rhea Ripley after her second straight PLE win over Jade Cargill. Damian Priest, Trick Williams, Bron Breakker and Dominik Mysterio battle in a King of the Ring first round 4way, while Bayley, Raquel Rodriguez, Jacy Jayne and Kiana James do the same in an opening round Queen of the Ring tournament tilt. Plus, Carmelo Hayes and Ricky Saints go one-on-one for the second straight Friday.
We’ll update this post as results come in from Unipol Arena, which should be at 2 p.m. Eastern.
