The Cleveland Guardians have made some roster moves:

So, as of now, Will Brennan, Andrew Walters and Sam Hentges are on the 40-man roster.
Will Wilson, Dom Nunez, Kolby Allard, Matt Krook, Ben Lively and John Means are free agents.
Any of these six can still return to the Guardians. I would especially suspect Lively may return on a minor-league deal or a cheaper deal as he recovers from Tommy John.
Releasing Means is the main surprise for me, as I thought he was useful starter depth. This may indicate austerity measures… or the team may be reserving as much money as possible to make a run at a more expensive target.
I would expect the Guardians to pursue some starting pitching this offseason, now. Also, Brennan is likely retained due to his minor league options. He is valuable depth.
Now to see what the rest of the offseason holds!
