This was a question we wanted to ask before we learned of Taylor Moton’s recent medical situation. Christensen has long been both a versatile offensive lineman and a fan favorite. With Moton set to miss an unspecified amount of time this season, Christensen’s availability and progress are of even greater interest t0 the Panthers.
Christensen has played in 59 games in his five seasons with the Panthers, including 34 starts. Six of those starts have been at tackle (all in 2021) and 28 have been across
both guard positions in the years since. It is unclear if Moton’s pending absence affected the Panthers decision to bring Christensen back beyond their interest in him as somebody who can back up all five positions along the offensive line.
There is also Christensen’s own recovery from injury to consider. He tore his Achilles tendon in Week 8 of the 2025 season. The typical timeline for returning from such an injury would have him practicing within as little as eight months and playing in games again as late as a year later. Many athletes also never return to their full pre-injury form after an Achilles tear.
Christensen was cleared for contact this summer before the Panthers signed him, so presumably he is well on the road to recovery. When and where that road will end, however, is a question that remains to be answered.
Now we turn the larger question of his future over to you, Panthers fans. What do you expect from Brady Christensen this year?
