According to a report from Sport Bild (as captured by Get German Football News),Hertha Berlin wunderkind Kennet Eichhorn, who has been linked to Bayern Munich, is seeking a summer transfer:
Kennet Eichhorn has decided to leave Hertha Berlin in the summer.
He wants to train regularly at a high level and with a big club.
Frankfurt still lead the way for the 16-year-old.
However, Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg is refuting the story that Eichhorn has made a decision to leave Hertha Berlin:
🚨🆕
Kennet #Eichhorn has definitely not made a decision about his future yet. Neither whether he wants to move, nor where he would go.
All top clubs in Europe (FC Bayern and RB Leipzig included as revealed) are currently on alert and competing for the 16 y/o super talent.
Eichhorn is fully focused on his rehab, which – contrary to recent reports – is going very well (syndesmosis injury to his left foot). It remains realistic and it’s his big goal that he could feature in matches in the second half of the season and help Hertha BSC in their promotion push.

It is tough to tell what exactly is going on, but Eichhorn will absolutely have opportunities to leave if he would like to. This injury, however, could cause him to re-think any plans as he could want to be more conservative with his timing for a transfer if he has any doubt about his health.
