Andreas Christensen remains on the sidelines for Barcelona after sustaining a muscle injury in the win over Sevilla back in September.
The Dane has already missed over a month of action and still hasn’t returned to full training, suggested a return is not due anytime soon.
According to Diario Sport, Barcelona are still unsure when he might be available to play again for the Catalan giants.
No return date has yet been set and his injury record means he’s unlikely to be rushed back for fear of aggravating
his current issue.
Christensen won’t play in El Clasico and is likely also to sit out games against Alaves, Aston Villa and Atletico Madrid.
La Liga then pauses for an international break in November, with Sport claiming Christensen could potentially return when La Liga resumes on November 22nd.
Barcelona are due to play Villarreal on that date which would be almost two months since Christensen was first sidelined with his current injury.
